Vitamin Angels premieres online documentary to broaden its message
Vitamin angels premieres their online documentary to broaden its message on the issue of vitamin A deficiency in children worldwide. The compendium of footage was selected in collaboration with the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) to document experiences learning firsthand about the effects of undernutrition. The film’s goal is to educate viewers about the life-threatening problem of micronutrient deficiencies and what Vitamin Angels is doing to reach children around the world. 190 million children worldwide are vitamin A deficient, and this deficiency is the leading cause of blindness. Vitamin Angels is a charitable organization bringing vital nutrients to at-risk populations worldwide with life-saving and life-changing vitamins they so desperately need.
