GMA teams with MSU on ingredient safety research center
To ensure safety on products and maintain the confidence of consumers, the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) backs new research that will provide analysis and information on the safe use of chemical ingredients in consumer packaged goods. Along with a team from Michigan State University (MSU), GMA staff and experts have developed this action plan to support effective implementation of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act provisions, so that consumers clearly understand their choices in the marketplace. GMA is very pleased to be part of the founding of the Center for Research on Ingredient Safety.
