Customer Service Representative

Cerritos Office

Summary: The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers on behalf of Captek by taking personal and complete responsibility for each customer contact and by ensuring all customer requirements are met. CSR has primary responsibility for meeting customer needs, from order placement to delivery of product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and assist customers in timely manner.
  • Process customer orders efficiently and timely in ERP System (Syspro).
  • Manage / maintain daily open order reports and workflow to ensure orders meet customer deadlines.
  • Collaborate with multiple functional departments to identify and remove obstacles.
  • Efficiently resolve customer issues, complaints and questions professionally and with good communication skills.
  • Provide weekly / monthly open order status reports and inventory reports to sales and customers.
  • Assist with processing of credits / returns.

Educational Qualification:

  • Degree preferred or equivalent customer service experience.

Required Skills /Experience: 

  • 2 or more years of experience in Customer Service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working in an ERP system, SYSPRO experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, meet deadlines and be flexible.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
