The review, “Health Habits and Other Characteristics of Supplement Users,” prove that supplement users incorporate these products into their lifestyle as part of an effort to live healthy and longer. The good health habits are eating healthy, getting a regular exercise, maintaining an ideal weight, avoid smoking, and the supplement regimen. Dietary supplement users also tend to be more women than men, and the prevalence of use increases with age. The review suggested that Americans who take dietary supplements are focused on long-term wellness.
