Kevin Tully joined CAPTEK as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing after nearly 25 years of experience in global sales and marketing, building market share for branded and private label manufacturing businesses.
Prior to joining CAPTEK, Kevin spent the last 17 years at leading companies including Pharmavite, Nice-Pak, and Nature’s Bounty. Kevin consistently delivered double-digit sales growth by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities. These include the establishment and growing of market share, and devising solutions to a wide range of business, sales, and marketing challenges. Kevin is recognized for his customer development and leadership, overseeing customer P&L, trade budget, and improving customer profitability. He has developed and maintained top-to-top customer relationships built on healthy client-focused values.
At CAPTEK, Kevin is an integral part of the leadership team and works closely with executives on developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. His marketing acumen will lead the company in developing new channel strategies, category growth, increased points of distribution, increased promotional executions, and pricing and retail performance objectives.
An Ohio native, Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. Kevin is married and has three adult children. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing golf.
John brings more than 25 years of industry-leading expertise in the nutritional supplement, vitamin, OTC and RX sector. With the philosophy of “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”, he is a facilitator and builder of world-class technology management and product development teams, with a specialty in both start-up and scaled growth stages. John specializes in production processes of encapsulation liquid fill, solid dosage and compressed materials.
Prior to joining the CAPTEK team, John Puckett held senior leadership positions and led world-class companies such as Barlean’s, Banner Pharmacaps and Cintas. He oversaw all the company’s operations, sales and marketing activities to ensure production efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources. He is recognized as a proactive leader that empowers his teams to achieve goals and perform at their highest level by providing prioritization, effective tools, mentorship and having appropriate controls in place. John believes cultivating a spirit of innovation and cross-functional teamwork with the mindset of “anything is possible” – providing the spark that brings great ideas and concepts to life.
As an inventor, John has several pending and more than 20 published national and international patents for gelatin capsule formulation and drying systems, rotary die design, as well as methods for manufacturing of softgels – which is one of his true passions.
John earned his Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Colorado Boulder and Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the Colorado Technical University.
A native of Edinburgh Scotland, where much of his family still lives, John is a dual citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom. He is proud of his Scottish roots AND sporting his kilt with his family’s clan tartan. In his spare time, John enjoys playing league pool, rooting for his favorite sports teams (Carolina Panthers and Manchester United), riding his Harley motorcycle and spending time with his two daughters that reside in North Carolina.
Building on over 25 years of experience in Product Development, Tim has a thorough understanding of what is needed to make even challenging softgel concepts into reality.
Prior to joining the CAPTEK team, Tim Chiprich held R&D management positions at Nutrition Express, Leiner Health Products and at R.P. Scherer. He also held Scientist / Formulator positions at General Nutrition Products and Pennex Products. In his roles, he led teams responsible for the development of pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, and cosmetic products in softgels, hard shell capsules, tablets, liquids, and powdered dosage forms but his passion is softgels. He has also participated in gelatin research and new technology projects and has several pending and granted patents involving specialty gelatin-based products and delivery systems.
A native of western Pennsylvania, Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the California University of Pennsylvania. He lived and worked in Pittsburgh, PA, Greenville, SC, St. Petersburgh, FL and Charlotte, NC, before finding his way to California – his home now for the last 7 years. In his spare time, Tim enjoys hiking and is an avid collector of early American and classic coins.
An accomplished Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Penni brings 25 years of extensive experience driving brand and product integrity for multi-billion-dollar companies within the dietary supplement, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to joining the CAPTEK team, Penni held management positions at such distinguished companies as Pfizer Corporation, Swanson Health, Isagenix, and Bausch and Lomb. In these roles, Penni was adept at steering product from concept to launch while securing FDA approval and ensuring compliance across all rules and regulations; fielding inquiries from governments, entities, and business partners to obtain market authorizations and handle product registrations worldwide; and proactively driving quality management improvements while achieving performance metrics, reducing operating costs and meeting customer expectations. She is recognized as a proactive, pragmatic leader that aids staff by prioritizing work, managing resources, providing tools, coaching through challenges, and professionally developing direct reports.
A native of New York, Penni earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She lived and worked in New York before moving to Southern California. She and her husband have four children and seven grandchildren. In her spare time, Penni enjoys reading, sewing, and quilting.
Tom Griffin joined CAPTEK as VP of Supply Chain after 30 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, production planning, and manufacturing divisions. Prior to joining CAPTEK, Tom held key leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, Johnson & Johnson, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Emerson Electric, and Leiner Health Products. He has implemented ERP systems at multiple companies in various industries reinforcing his passion for continuous improvement and maximizing system effectiveness across the business enterprise. His experience spanning various industries, including nutritional supplements, will be instrumental in bringing best practices to CAPTEK Softgel.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Cal State Fullerton and his Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Redlands. He also holds APICS certifications in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
Terry brings over 20 years of experience to the Dietary Supplement Industry. During this time he has held senior management positions within the operations, sales and marketing departments. This invaluable and unique industry knowledge and experience has allowed Terry to successfully manage new and repeat product demands through the complete manufacturing process while maintaining a high degree of designed quality and service to our valued clients. Terry’s success at each stage of his career is evident by the operational stability and sales success being realized at CAPTEK.
As a Wisconsinite and graduate of the University of Wisconsin (On Wisconsin!), Terry hitched his wagon on a one-way journey to Southern California over 20 years ago and embarked on his continuing adventures into the dietary supplement world where he currently lives with his wife and two daughters.
Terry Keller joined CAPTEK as VP of Sales after nearly 30 years in the consumer packaged goods and dietary supplements industries. His experience building private label manufacturing and branded businesses has earned him the reputation amongst customers and co-workers of being “extremely dedicated, strategic and resourceful, and one who places a premium on integrity, accountability, and communication.”
Terry has served in senior leadership sales and marketing roles across a range of companies – from large organizations to smaller, more entrepreneurial businesses; from privately-held to publicly-traded to private equity-owned. He has cultivated top-to-top relationships with customers, retailers, and suppliers as a result of his commitment to building highly adaptable organizations and customer-driven cultures. Terry’s complete product life-cycle expertise – from R&D to sourcing to manufacturing and operations to sell through – is a valuable resource not only to his customers but to internal teams and direct reports.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Terry and his wife have loved calling Utah home since 2000, where they enjoy upland bird hunting (with their five dogs!) and golf. Terry is also an avid fly fisherman and skier.
Fon Wong is a well-rounded business finance and accounting leader with a strategic business orientation, hands-on approach and demonstrated expertise in Finance and Accounting. He has over 20 years’ experience in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to joining CAPTEK, Fon spent over 10 years in the CPG industry at both Ajinomoto Windsor Foods and Nestle USA. In addition, he spent a number of years at NBTY/Leiner Health Products in the Dietary Supplements and OTC Drugs businesses. As VP/CFO at Ajinomoto Windsor, Fon led teams in Corporate Finance, Accounting and Information Technology functions.
At CAPTEK, Fon is an integral part of the leadership team and works closely with executives on the strategic, business, and financial initiatives of the company, including post-merger functional integration and mid-term growth plan.
Fon migrated from China at an early age. He attended the University of Southern California and earned both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Cum Laude) and a Master in Business Administration. Fon and his family have been long-time residents of Southern California. Fon is an avid long-distance runner and a passionate college football fan.

It conserves enough energy to power 191 homes and offsets 1,139 tons of carbon annually. Our production facility is also LEED certified for core and shell.
