CAPTEK Softgel International Earns Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification
Cerritos, California (September 30, 2024) – CAPTEK® Softgel International, a leading contract manufacturer of dietary supplements announced today that it has achieved Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification at its gummy production facility located in La Mirada, California (DBA CAPTEK® Pharma). This means that our new La Mirada production facility was audited by a third-party auditing and certification body, SCS Global Services, using an accredited certification process from the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute. CAPTEK Pharma is now registered as meeting the requirements for the SQF Food Safety Code for Dietary Supplements, Edition 9.
The SQF Certification program is trusted by buyers around the world. It ensures a commitment to food safety in the manufacturing process for dietary supplements, specifically our new food processing capability. The certification helps all CAPTEK customers establish trust in their individual brands. It is designed to protect brands by focusing on food safety, hazard analysis, risk assessment and proactive prevention strategies. This, in turn, increases consumer confidence and loyalty.
