Brett Buatti

Brett Buatti joined CAPTEK as Chief Executive Officer after 30+ years in the Food and CPG industry at high-volume and large-scale manufacturing companies, where he led end-to-end supply chains, product commercialization and operating strategy.

Prior to joining the CAPTEK team, Brett held senior leadership positions at world-class companies such as General Mills, Campbell’s, Ajinomoto Foods and Pharmavite. He most recently served as Chief Operations & Supply Chain Officer at Aspire Bakeries, a large industrial frozen bakery products company with leading brands serving the restaurant, food service, club and retail channels. His experience in the Vitamin, Minerals & Supplements industry includes leading the end-to-end supply chain at Pharmavite, and serving as Vice President of Manufacturing at the Bountiful Company. Brett is recognized as a proactive leader that empowers his teams to achieve goals and perform at their highest level. He believes in cultivating a spirit of innovation and continuous improvement with the mindset of “Do what’s right for our business and our employees”.

At CAPTEK, Brett collaborates with the management team & board of directors to execute the company’s vision and mission. He plays an integral role in the company’s overall strategic direction along with managing the day-to-day operations across Operations, Supply Chain and Research & Development departments.

A native of New Hampshire, Brett earned several degrees from Dartmouth College including a Master of Engineering Management degree, Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Economics. Along with his passion for creating high-performing teams, Brett values his family time. Brett and his wife have two children and reside in Southern California. In his spare time, Brett enjoys hiking, sports, and travel.
